Kitchen Planning Kit

The Wrong Kitchen
Plan Can Cost
Lakhs Later.

Plan Your Kitchen Properly Before Plumbing, Electrical and Tiles Begin.

Most kitchen mistakes happen before the modular kitchen work even starts - a wrong sink point, wrong chimney position, poor storage planning, uncomfortable workflow.

Once plumbing, electrical, and tiles are done, these mistakes get locked into the structure. Fixing them later means:

Extra expense
Breaking tiles
Civil rework
Daily inconvenience for years

That's why Kitchen World created the Kitchen Planning Kit - a practical planning system for homeowners in the construction stage, designed specially for Kumaon homes and families.

Not Just A Design

Any vendor gives you a free design. That is not what this is.

A free design is made in their showroom in 20 minutes. It is a sales tool - built for their catalogue, not your construction timeline. The Planning Kit is a construction advisory service. Five expert touchpoints timed to your actual build.

Site-measured, not assumed

We visit your home before drawing anything. The plan is built for your exact walls and actual space.

Trade-coordinated, not just visual

Your plumber, electrician, and tiling contractor get written instructions from us — not guesswork.

Five touchpoints, not one meeting

Present at every critical decision point across your construction timeline.

Yours to keep, regardless

MEP drawings, BOQ, and vendor guide belong to you — whether you book with us or not.

How It Works

Questions you'll know to ask

A knowledgeable friend's guide - yours to keep and use with us or anyone else.

Ask them to explain every material choice - carcass, shutters, edge banding. A vendor who knows their product will answer without hesitation. One who doesn't will deflect.

Kumaon's humidity is harder on kitchens than most vendors admit. Push for specifics - what grade of board, what surface treatment, what happens in year 5. Then ask whether any of this is covered in the warranty.

Ask to see the warranty document before signing anything. If it's verbal, it doesn't exist. A good warranty names exactly what it covers and who is responsible when something needs fixing.

Insist on Sleek or Blum. Both are proven for Indian kitchen conditions. Ask how long the hardware is warranted and whether that warranty comes from the manufacturer or only from the vendor. If a hinge fails in year three, who actually shows up?
